When  they therefore come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is com upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Då de nu hade kommit tillhopa, frågade de honom och sade: 

"Herre, skall du nu i denna tid upprätta igen riket åt Israel?" 

Han svarade dem: "Det tillkommer icke eder att få veta tider 

eller stunder som Fadern i sin makt har fastställt. 

Men när den helige Ande kommer över eder, 

skolen I undfå kraft och bliva mina vittnen, 

både i Jerusalem och i hela Judeen och Samarien 

och sedan intill jordens ände."

När han hade sagt detta, lyftes han inför deras ögon 

upp i höjden och en sky tog honom bort ur deras åsyn. 

Och medan de skådade mot himmelen, under det han for upp, 

se, då stodo hos dem två män i vita kläder. 

Och dessa sade: "I galileiske män, 

varför stån I och sen mot himmelen? 

Denne Jesus, som har blivit upptagen från eder 

till himmelen, han skall komma igen på samma sätt 

som I haven sett honom fara upp till himmelen.

The same was in the beginning with God.

And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered,

Detta var i begynnelsen hos Gud. 

Genom det har allt blivit till och utan det har intet blivit till, som är till. 

I det var liv och livet var människornas ljus. 

Och ljuset lyser i mörkret och mörkret har icke fått makt därmed.

Se, den stund kommer, ja, den är redan kommen, 

då ni skolen förskingras var och en åt sitt håll 

och lämna mig allena. 

Dock jag är icke allena, ty Fadern är med mig. 

Detta har jag talat till eder för att I skolen hava frid i mig. 

I världen liden i betryck; men varen vid gott mod, 

jag har övervunnit världen.

Sedan Jesus hade talat detta, lyfte han upp sina ögon mot himmelen och sade: "Fader, stunden är kommen; förhärliga din Son, 

på det att din Son må förhärliga dig, 

eftersom du har givit honom makt över allt kött,

Och detta är evigt liv, att de känna dig, 

den ende sanne Guden 

och den du har sänt, Jesus Kristus. 

Jag har förhärligat dig på  jorden, genom att fullborda det verk 

som du har givit mig att utföra. 

Och nu, Fader, förhärliga du mig hos dig själv, 

med den härlighet som jag hade hos dig, förrän världen var till.

Nasty storms of life - John 6:15-21

I´ve been in a small boat when suddenly the weather shanged and the storm made the waves in the mountainlake go high and it was so very cold! We lost the oars and it was so scary! I was a teen att that time and I didn´t know Jesus, so I didn´t have Him to turn to with cries for help. Now as a believer, I have peace, because I know who to turn to when life gets rough and stormy! I know in whom I believe! I believe in Jesus, who can walk on water, calm the storm and draw people to Him and save them! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord Jesus! Amen!

📖 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, 

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 

                                                                                                Psalm 23:4

Is your life hard? Do you feel empty and that something is missing? Have you lost hope? Do you feel lonely, rejected and abandoned by others? Have your close and loved ones turned away from you? Turn to Jesus and accept Him as your savior! Invite Him to your heart and give your life to Him. It´s not too late. As long as your heart beats there´s time. But don´t hesitate. You don´t know, and I don´t know, when time´s up! Only God the Father knows...
