A happy heart

In times when everything feels heavy and dark, let Jesus come into and fill your heart with his light and you will find yourself raised in peace and joy. He, who is the light of the world wishes nothing else but good for you. He does not want to see his children and followers in a state of discouragement. No, He wants us to look at and rejoice in Him and spread this joy, as we can read in Phil 4:4: 

"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice" (Phil 4:4) KJV 

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. (Prov 15:13) KJV

The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. (Prov 15:30) KJV

Life here on earth is often filled with sorrows and adversities, but then we shall lift our eyes and look at Jesus. God has not given us a head to wear it hanging. No, lift your eyes and carry your head high! But not in pride, but in the assurance that you are a child of God, a child of a king, yes, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. We shall have our pride in the Lord, in what we are in Him. What can people do against us when God is for us and with us? NOTHING! We must remind ourselves that we are on a passing through way. This world is not our right home, for our right home is with God, the Almighty! The Creator of everything. He who called us, yes draged us to Himself, would He abandon us? Far be it from God! He who already when He made us in our mothers lifes had decided for us, and what He have decided for us who have choosen to follow Him, is GOOD! 

Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. 7. Thoug I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch fort thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies. (Psalms 138:6-7) KJV

If others cause grief, pain and concern to you, remember to forgive them, bless them and pray for them. Remember that we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against spirits in the heavens. 

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:12) KJV 

Keep in mind that God sees EVERYTHING and that one day we all are to stand before His throne! Before Him, who has the power to judge both living and dead. 

"The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." (Prov 15:3) KJV 

A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee O LORD, will I sing. 

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 

3. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 

4. A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. 

5. Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off:  him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. 

6. Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. 

7. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. 

8. I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
